Civilian Office of Police Accountability
Kelsey Fitzpatrick received her BA from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, summa cum laude, with a major in Sociology and minors in Psychology and Classical Civilizations. She obtained her MA in Criminology, Law & Justice from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Fitzpatrick’s academic research focus was on race, class, and gender.
Fitzpatrick is a Chicago native and currently serves as an Investigator for the Civilian Office of Police Accountability (COPA).
Prior to working for the City of Chicago, Fitzpatrick worked in corporate investigations with work including background investigations, litigation support, threat management, and social media investigations.
